Poughkeepsie, NY: The Hudson Valley Gospel Festival committee is pleased to announce the 6th Annual Hudson Valley Gospel Festival, set for Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Family Partnership Center, 29 North Hamilton Street, Poughkeepsie, NY. This free, family-friendly event brings together choirs, praise teams, and dancers from across the mid-Hudson region for an afternoon of uplifting music, worship, and community celebration.
The 2025 festival will feature the Hudson Valley Gospel Festival Choir, directed by Dinesa Hansen, the Ulster County Community Gospel Choir, led by Dennis Washington, the Baptist Temple Church Praise Team from Orange County, led by Pastor Dollyann Briggs, and the Hudson Lily of the Valley Praise Dance Team, led by Linda Molina. Pastor Evelyn Clarke will serve as emcee for the afternoon.
Gospel music has been an essential part of Poughkeepsie’s cultural life for generations. The Hudson Valley Gospel Festival continues this legacy, providing a platform for choirs and performers to engage the community while celebrating the richness and creativity of gospel music today.
The Hudson Valley Gospel Festival is free and open to the public. Families, friends, and neighbors are encouraged to attend and enjoy an afternoon of music, dance, and fellowship in the heart of Poughkeepsie.
