Saratoga Springs, NY — Get ready to don your Santa suits, elf hats, and reindeer antlers! There are so many exciting events coming up in this month that will spark holiday cheer while supporting Franklin Community Center’s mission. Mark your calendars because you do not want to miss out!
First up is the Winter Welcome Disc Golf event on Saturday, December 7, 2024. The yearly Charity Disc Golf Tournament takes place at Saratoga Spa State Park, with tee off at 11:45am. A donation item or cash donation are required for entry, and all proceeds will be donated to FCC. You can find more details here.
On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, Samantha Nass Floral & Event Design at 61 Lawrence Street is hosting a special Support & Social event spotlighting Franklin Community Center. All donations will directly support our vital programs, and every shopper or donor will be entered to win a $250 gift certificate! Stop by anytime during their extended hours from 10 AM to 8 PM.
The annual SantaCon is returning to Saratoga Springs on Saturday, December 14, 2024 with a fresh approach focused on family-friendly fun and community support. Tickets can be purchased for $15 online or $20 day-of the event from 1:00PM-3:00PM at Soundbar Saratoga and Harvey’s Restaurant. The ticket price provides drink specials at participating bars and establishments while supporting essential programs and services for the Saratoga community, with 100% of all ticket sales going to FCC. SantaCon participants are encouraged to dress up in holiday attire and celebrate community, kindness, and holiday cheer!
Last but not least, The Saratoga Hilton will be hosting their 3rd Annual Cookies & Cocoa with Santa fundraiser. Join them on Monday, December 18th from 4:30PM-7:30PM for an evening full of ornament making, cookie decorating, and of course a visit with The Saratoga Santa! This year, they have chosen to donate to Franklin Community Center and will be collecting new unwrapped gifts as the admission to the event. Gifts will go to FCC’s Holiday Assistance program, benefiting families in need this holiday season. You can sign up for your donation item and to attend the event at this link.
