LadybugCornwall, N.Y. - A popular and welcome sight in the summertime is the speckled red dome of a Ladybug, but there is more to them than meets the eye! Join the Hudson Highlands Nature Center on Saturday, July 13 at 10am for their  Ladybug Release at the Outdoor Discovery Campus, located at 120 Muser Drive in Cornwall.

Some consider Lady "bugs"  (or more accurately, Lady Beetles)  to be a symbol of good luck, while others appreciate them for their preferred diet of plant-eating pests. Join Nature Educators to learn all about these incredible insects, their awesome adaptations, and how helpful they really are. Then head out to help hand release native ladybugs into the fields and gardens!

Pre-registration is required at hhnaturecenter.org/specialevents or call (845) 534-5506.. Admission for ages 3 & up: HHNC Members: $10/child (age 3-12) $12/adult, Not Yet-Member: $12/child (age 3-12), $14/adult.
