Savor Spring on the Trail – New, In-Progress, and Unreleased wines, ciders and beers!

Wayne County, NY – The Lake Ontario Wine Trail is thrilled to invite wine, cider and beer lovers, and springtime adventurers to its annual “Roll Out the Barrels” event, happening Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27, 2025. This much-anticipated weekend celebrates the arrival of a new vintage season with exclusive tastings, extra discounts, and behind-the-scenes access to some of the region’s finest wineries, cideries, and brewery.

Guests will experience the unique opportunity to sample straight from the tank, meet the makers and key employees, and enjoy first tastes of new, in-progress or unreleased wines, craft spirits, beers and hard ciders – all while exploring the beautiful countryside that makes up the Lake Ontario Wine Trail.

“I love hosting this event every year,” says Audrey Allen, President of the Lake Ontario Wine Trail and winemaker at JD Wine Cellars. “Roll Out the Barrels is a great way to kick of the spring season every year, and it gives guests a rare glimpse into the art of winemaking, cidermaking and brewing, and a chance to connect with the passionate people behind every pour.”

Participating stops on the trail include beloved names such as Casa Larga, Boom Point, JD Wine Cellars, Embark Craft Ciderworks, Colloca Estate Winery, Disbatch Brewery, Silver Waters Wine, Rootstock Cider & Spirits, and Olfactory Farms, and Young Sommer Winery. There are also two Associate Members participating: Pop’s House of Country Collectibles, and Sarah’s Country Barn! They will have free samples and a small gift for visiting.

TICKETS are $30 per person and include 3 tastings at each location and access to all the weekend’s special offerings. Tickets are limited and can be purchased online at www.lakeontariowinetrail.com.
