Full Bloom at Magic HourStep into a sky-high floral fantasy featuring limited-time programming and menus inspired by the botanical installation

New York, NY (June  2, 2025) -  Magic Hour at Moxy Times Square, New York City’s largest all-season indoor and outdoor rooftop bar—operated by Tao Hospitality Group—unveils Full Bloom. The brand-new seasonal experience brings a garden in the sky to life on the venue’s west terrace, with towering blooms, floral cocktails, and curated activations. Full Bloom will run through September during the venue's regular operating hours.

Full Bloom marks the group’s most ambitious transformation yet— reimagining the rooftop’s terrace as a lush, immersive garden in the sky, wildly overgrown in the most artful way. Twisting vines climb up walls and sprawl across ceilings, tangled with playful patterns, colorful checkerboards, wonky waves, and whimsical wiggles. It's a dreamlike wonderland where nature meets nostalgia in bold, transforming Maic Hour into the most show-stopping rooftop escape of the summer.

At the heart of Full Bloom stands its most show-stopping feature: a colossal 12-foot-tall floral bouquet, custom-designed by experiential studio Geo Events (the group behind the “Big Birk” that took over Soho earlier this year). This oversized installation is more than just a photo moment—it’s a surreal sculpture garden centerpiece that brings the entire theme to life. Sculptural roses, daisies, peonies, and wildflowers explode in a kaleidoscope of pastel hues—petal pinks, butter yellows, sky blues—rising high above the terrace floor.

The rooftop’s iconic carousel gets a full floral transformation wrapped in cascading vines and oversized blooms, surrounded by Eden-inspired sculptures. Nearby, a striking wall installation featuring six- to eight-foot-tall flowers forms a dramatic floral skyline while surrounding greenery creates the illusion of a garden growing up behind guests

“We wanted to design something that felt surreal yet joyful—like stepping into the pages of a storybook,” said Azizan Ali, founder and lead designer at Design House Decor who worked in collaboration with Yvonne Najor, VP of Hotel Marketing for Tao Hospitality Group, to bring the installation to life. “Full Bloom is our maximalist love letter to spring and New York creativity.”

“Each year, our guests eagerly await the big reveal at Magic Hour—and Full Bloom is no exception,” said Najor. “It’s incredibly exciting to watch this space come to life season after season and see how thrilled people are to discover the next evolution of the rooftop experience.”

“We’re always looking for ways to push creative boundaries,” said Giovanni Casas, owner of Geo Events. “For Magic Hour, we wanted to design something truly unforgettable that people would instantly connect with—something as jaw-dropping in real life as it is on camera.”

To fully infiltrate the senses, Magic Hour is rolling out an updated food & beverage menu of shareable bites created by Executive Chef Ben-Galy Cisse, featuring floral-themed desserts by Chef Erin Cayaban and botanical cocktails dreamed up by Senior Director of Beverage Nikki McCutcheon. Highlights include a Botanical Spritz menu offering “a bouquet of spritzes” presented in long-stemmed flutes and served in an iridescent vase – choose 3 for $40 or 6 for $75. Signature sips include the Lavender Haze (lavender Monin syrup, lemon juice, prosecco) and the Golden Hour (Lobos Blanco, mango-chili purée, passionfruit purée, agave, and prosecco), along with refreshing nonalcoholic options like the Soft Launch (Nozeco Peach Bellini) and more.

In addition to the new themed menu, Magic Hour has also overhauled its original menu, now offering expansive bar bites on both terraces. Featured all-day menu offerings include Wagyu Pigs in a Blanket, Shrimp Ceviche, Lobster Rolls and more.  On the weekends, guests can indulge in a family-friendly brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with menu highlights such as Egg White Frittata, Creme Brulee French Toast, Dubai Chocolate Croissant and more.

From after-work happy hours to weekend brunches with live music and more, Full Bloom is set to become the city’s must-visit rooftop destination this summer. The season will be packed with surprises, from high-energy drag brunches and celebrity DJ sets to exclusive brand pop-ups, unexpected collaborations with iconic New York attractions, and creative moments hosted by the city’s most exciting tastemakers and content creators. The space will also be available for full buy-outs, offering a whimsical, floral-filled backdrop for everything from bachelorette and birthday parties to corporate celebrations and branded events.
