Orange County, N.Y. -- Orange County Tourism & Film is rebranding! The tourism team will unveil a lively new logo and slogan – and will introduce a friendly, loveable mascot! Dignitaries will be on hand to introduce the new, colorful logo that captures Orange County’s proud agricultural heritage, small-town charm and cultural sites. The new branding celebrates a county jam-packed with activities, family-friendly destinations, farm-to-table restaurants and fabulous accommodations just 50 miles north of New York City.
WHEN: 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2024; unveiling ceremony, 5 p.m.
WHERE: Orange County Tourism & Film Welcome Center, 99 Main St., Goshen, N.Y.
WHO: Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus; Amanda Dana, director of Orange County Tourism & Film; travel expert Josiah Brown, known as “the New York Sherpa;” and, of course, the new mascot!
Representatives of the media are asked to RSVP by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12. There will be interview, video and photo opportunities.
MORE INFORMATION: Attendees will enjoy some of Orange County’s most iconic offerings – apple cider and cider doughnuts from Soons Orchards, maple syrup from Finding Home Farms and gelato from the Ice Capps food truck.
The new logo and campaign will convey the county’s fun, laid-back nature while conveying a mature and confident appearance. The new branding will entice visitors to come and discover the mixture of traditional bucolic environments, family-friendly activities, rich history and envelope-pushing cultural touchstones. The branding will enliven the tourism department’s website, www.OrangeTourism.org, and all ads, brochures and other materials specially designed to educate visitors about all Orange County offers.
