PetfestGlens Falls, NY – The Glens Falls Collaborative, a membership organization whose mission is to work together to promote Glens Falls, is once again hosting Pet Fest in collaboration with North Country Paws for Obedience, local Canine Enrichment Center & group of leaders/ trainers who are dedicated to Adventure, Fulfillment, and Relationship with our community and their canine companions! Pet Fest will take place in Glens Falls City Park Sunday, May 19th, 2024. From 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, the public is invited to bring their well-behaved, properly leashed pets to this pet-friendly event. Pet Fest will take place in Glens Falls City Park, and pet owners will be able to interact with different community partners that specialize in helping and educating pet owners & our community!

Pet Fest will kick off at 9:00 am. Among the offerings are concessions, interactive demos from North Country Paws for Obedience, and a Lure Course provided by Alpha Dog. The Alpha Dog Lure Course allows your dog to run through the course to test their skills. The Lure Course will be part of the criteria for the “Dogs Got Talent” Contest.

The “Dogs Got Talent” Contest starts at 10:00 am. This event will showcase the obedience, intelligence, and talent of the participating dogs. Prizes will be given out to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd ranking canines! Judges are to be announced on Facebook.

There will be a Fashion Show for Adoptable Dogs at 12:00 pm, followed by a “Puppy Parade” that will be led by the winners of the Talent Contest around the perimeter of Glens Falls City Park. Patrons will be able to interact with vendors to learn more about how they can help their pets and purchase goods that will be beneficial to them as owners and their furry family members. This event is produced by the Glens Falls Collaborative with major support from the City of Glens Falls, the Glens Falls Business Improvement District and Advokate. Event Sponsors include Benson’s Pet Center, North Country Paws for Obedience and VCA Adirondack Animal Hospital.

The Glens Falls Collaborative and its partners aim to provide a great day full of enrichment, resources, and a truly one-of-a-kind experience. By calling on local businesses who are part of the Collaborative and prospective members, they believe that this event will be bigger than years past, drawing over 200 participants to have a fun day with their pets!
