Free Exhibit Open October 9th - 11th
New City, NY - County Executive Ed Day and Economic Development and Tourism Director Jenna Nazario, are proud to announce the 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit is coming to Rockland County.
In partnership with the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, the exhibit will be at the Nyack Marina Lot on Thursday, October 9th from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday, October 10th and Saturday, October 11th from Noon to 9 p.m. The museum is free and open to the public, with guided tours led by retired New York City firefighters and first responders who were at Ground Zero. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore artifacts, hear stories, and see heartfelt tributes honoring the heroes of September 11.
This powerful traveling museum, housed in an 83-foot tractor-trailer, transforms into a 1,100-square-foot space dedicated to honoring those lost, in addition to the heroism shown on September 11, 2001.
“It is vital that we preserve the memory of September 11—not only as history, but as a living lesson,” said County Executive Ed Day. “Hosting this exhibit ensures our community remembers the courage and sacrifice of that day and helps teach future generations about the heroes who stepped forward in our time of need.”
