Schweinfurth Art CenterAuburn, NY (July 8, 2026) – The Schweinfurth Art Center is announcing its 2026 summer hours, which run from Sunday, July 19, through Sunday, Aug. 16. The art center will be open regular hours, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays, noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays, and closed on Sundays.

The art center will close to the public from Aug. 17 to 28 for installation of our fall exhibition, “Perpetual Expanse” by Susan Ferrari Rowley, and construction work. The Schweinfurth will open at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, with an opening reception for “Perpetual Expanse.” The reception lasts until 6 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Rowley will talk about her work at 5 p.m. that day

The clay studio will also be closed Monday, July 13, through Saturday, Aug. 29, reopening with regular hours on Sunday, Aug. 30. This closure is to accommodate Summer Art Camp classes and a refresh of the clay studio. Regular clay studio hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays.
