Seamlessly blending rustic and modern design elements, Skaneateles Fields features 89 guest rooms, four restaurants and bars, a spa, and a sprawling outdoor area with a pool, fire pits, saunas, al fresco dining areas, pickleball and bocce ball courts, an executive putting green, walking trails, and more. The rooms and suites include Deluxe King and Double Queen rooms (including ADA rooms), two-bedroom Lodge Suites, The Fox Den (Family Room), and a grand Presidential Suite. For larger gatherings, celebrations or meetings, guests can enjoy premier venue Allyn Lodge, the largest freestanding timber structure in the state with 25,000 sq ft of events space, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a deck with stunning views of a private pond.
Skaneateles Fields works with and spotlights local craftsmen, artists, and farms that prioritize responsible and sustainable practices. The property’s close partnership with Tap Root Fields is reflected throughout the guest experience – from farm-to-fork dishes in the restaurants and massage products used in spa treatments, to educational activities. Local craftsmanship is showcased through Artistry in Wood, which created the guest room vanities, dressers, mirror frames, restaurant tables, and striking timber beams in the lobby. The Barrow Gallery curated artwork for the lobby, including newly restored, never-before-seen pieces by 19th-century painter John D. Barrow, known for his evocative Finger Lakes landscapes.
Guests can also browse and shop at the Fields Pantry, featuring custom goods from local makers, including an exclusive luggage set and handcrafted dog leash from The Local Branch.

Skaneateles Fields Resort & Spa is home to Fields, a seasonally-driven, all-day restaurant helmed by Executive Chef Esperanza Guzman (previously of RPM Italian in Chicago, Otra Vez in New Orleans, Bondo at The ‘Quin House in Boston). The cocktail program is overseen by William Elliott, the Executive Bar Director and Managing Partner of critically acclaimed Maison Premiere (James Beard Award Winner and #33 on North America’s 50 Best Bars) and Tigre (one of Esquire’s Best New Bars in America, 2024).
