Celebrate the start of the summer with a weekend of wine and food pairings on the Trail
Watkins Glen, NY - What better way to celebrate the change in seasons than with a summer-themed wine and food pairing event?! Join the members of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail for the Smokin' Summer Kickoff on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9.
Enjoy a self-guided tour around beautiful Seneca Lake while sampling wine and food pairings at participating Seneca Lake Wine Trail wineries. The food pairings will have a seasonal theme including grilled, barbeque, and picnic recipes!
A few of the dishes attendees can look forward to sampling include:

* Jalapeno Popper Pasta Salad at Toast Winery
* Brown Sugar Glazed Kielbasa Sliders at Lakewood Vineyards
* Grilled Corn and Quinoa Salad at Red Newt Cellars
* Watermelon Salad at Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards
Tickets are $55 per person for tickets that include food and wine tasting. Designated drivers are welcome and encouraged, and there are tickets available just for them ($15). Seneca Lake Wine Trail
Founded in 1986, the Seneca Lake Winery Association, known publicly as the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, is a nonprofit organization, dedicated to promoting its member wineries; to developing a spirit of cooperation between members of the association; to developing an outstanding wine producing and tourism area; to stimulating interest in wine in general and the wines of Seneca
Lake, specifically; and to gaining recognition of the Seneca Lake Winery Association as an independent leader in the grape growing, wine, and tourism
