Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association Announces Exciting Lineup of Events from August 6-11, 2024

Sullivan County, NY- The Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association is thrilled to announce another week packed with exciting events and activities for locals and visitors alike. From Tuesday, August 6^th- Monday, August 11^th, 2024, the region will come alive with a variety of experiences that highlight the Sullivan Catskills rich culture and community spirit.

Event Highlights This Week:

• Tuesday, August 6^th: Annual Artillery Punch Party at Cochecton Fire Station, 5pm
• Wednesday, August 7^th: Lego Club at the Livingston Manor Library from 1:30pm-2:30pm.
• Thursday, August 8th:

• Duck Race at Veterans' Park, Wurtsboro, 6pm
• New Memories music event in Parksville
• Pajama Storytime at Livingston Manor Library, 6pm
• Bethel Lakeside Music’s Thursday Summer Concert Series presents The Wagner Project and Aerial Acoustics from 6-8pm.

• Friday, August 9^th: Phish Afterparty at Yasgur Road Campground featuring Annie in the Water
• Saturday, August 10^th:

• DVAA (Delaware Valley Arts Alliance) presents The Stonewall JukeBox at Tusten Theatre, 7pm
• Ten Mile River Scout Museum's Car Show, 9am
• Dette Flies Pig Roast, 11am-4pm

• Sunday, August 11^th:

• Science Show by Dr. Schnitzel at Goldschein's Homestead, opening at 10am
• City Winery's Soul and Funk Fest, 12pm-5pm

• DVAA Exhibits: "Selective Belongings" and "Landforms and Bodyscapes" until September 15^th

• Town of Liberty Parks and Rec Chicken BBQ and Men's Softball Tournament, Friday-Sunday, August 9^th–11^th
• Bold Gold Media Speaker Series: "Heroic Therapeutics" on Saturday, August 10^th and Sunday, August 11^th.
• Delaware Valley Opera performances of The Telephone, The Old Maid and the Thief, Saturday, August 10^th and Sunday, August 11^th.
• Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop presents "The Wizard of Oz," from Friday-Sunday, August 9^th–11^th.
• Forestburgh Playhouse Productions of "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical" until August 11^th and "Willy Wonka" for younger audiences until August 17th.
