Popular Downtown Glens Falls Event Returns on Wednesday, July 9, 2025

Glens Falls, N.Y. — The Glens Falls Collaborative is excited to announce the 14th season of its popular summer event, 'Take a Bite', starting Wednesday, July 9, and running every Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. through August 20. Restaurants take to the sidewalks to offer affordably priced “small plate” menu items. Enjoy the beauty of Glens Falls, while experiencing the best of downtown restaurants and retailers, including live music, a bounce house, and good company. Adult beverages may be enjoyed outdoors along Glen Street, which will be closed off during the event, and organizers urge fun and safety for all.

About the Glens Falls Collaborative:

The Glens Falls Collaborative was created in 2012 by a group of dedicated merchants who wanted to cross-promote and increase business flowing to Downtown Glens Falls.

The Collaborative has expanded to put on major Downtown events, create an incredible map with a large distribution, create beautiful joint advertising, includes restaurants, arts and nonprofit organizations, health related businesses, media arts firms, and many different service providers and other area businesses.
