Saratoga Springs, NY (January 9, 2026) — The Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College announces a series of free public tours for the spring 2026 season, including weekly Tang Guide Tours on Sundays, monthly Curator’s Tours, and a Collections Touch Tour on March 14 for visitors who have low-vision or are blind.
All tours are free and open to the public, providing visitors unique perspectives on the Tang’s exhibitions and mission. Through the presentation of contemporary art, the Tang offers visitors opportunities to connect with new ideas and ways of understanding the complexities of the human experience.
The Tang rotates exhibitions in and out of its galleries, presenting more than a dozen each year. Spring highlights include Family Forms (on view through April 12, 2026), All These Growing Things (on view through July 19, 2026), and Kathy Butterly: Assume Yes (Feb. 14–July 26, 2026), alongside additional exhibitions on view throughout the season.
Curator’s Tour of Family Forms

Tour led by the exhibition’s co-curator Corinne Moss-Racusin, Professor of Psychology at Skidmore, and Izzy DeSantis, Kiki Pohlad ’13 Curatorial Assistant.
Weekly Tang Guide Tours
Sundays, January 25–May 3, 2 p.m.
Join us for an insightful tour of current exhibitions with a Tang Guide. Weekly tours are given by Tang Guides, many of whom are Skidmore College students trained as gallery ambassadors and tour guides.
Curator’s Tour of All These Growing Things
Thursday, February 12, Noon
Tour led by Izzy DeSantis, Kiki Pohlad ’13 Curatorial Assistant.
Collections Touch Tour
Saturday, March 14, 2 pm
A guided experience for visitors who are blind or have low vision and their companions. Event will include verbal description, discussion, and tactile exploration of a selection of objects. Registration required online or by calling the Tang’s Visitor Services Desk at (518) 580-8080.

The Tang Museum, located on the Skidmore College campus at 815 N. Broadway in Saratoga Springs, New York, is open Tuesday–Sunday, noon–5 p.m., with extended hours until 9 p.m. on Thursdays beginning January 22.
