Saratoga Springs, NY (November 20, 2025) – Black Friday marks the official start of the holiday shopping season across the country, and Saratoga Springs prepares to welcome in the season with huge savings throughout the downtown area. On November 28th, a select group of stores in downtown Saratoga Springs will be participating in a group sale promotion, offering a variety of discounts on the day after Thanksgiving. Most deals are spread out all day long to encourage a leisurely shopping experience.

Local merchants look forward to this day as an opportunity to offer customers once-a-year savings in appreciation of their support of local businesses throughout the year! “Black Friday Saratoga Participant” window signs and balloons will differentiate the storefronts of the businesses who are participating in the 13th annual Black Friday Saratoga event.

This year’s participating businesses are located up and down Broadway. The full list includes Celtic Treasures, Crafters Gallery, Divine Soul (Downstreet Marketplace), Encounter, Impressions of Saratoga, Into Mischief Boutique (Downstreet Marketplace), iRun LOCAL, Life is Good, Saratoga Olive Oil Company, Saratoga Outdoors, and Yellow Boutique. Sponsors include the Adirondack Trust Company; Prime Group Holdings; The Shannon McCarthy Team, Saratoga Springs Real Estate Agency at eXp Realty; Social Radiant; and Saratoga Report.

“It’s hard to believe that Black Friday Saratoga is in its 13th year!” said Fran Dingeman, owner of Network Saratoga LLC and organizer of the Black Friday Saratoga promotion. “This event started out as an initiative to draw shoppers to downtown Saratoga Springs on the busiest shopping day of the year. Black Friday Saratoga has grown into a tradition for many local shoppers who look forward to the day after Thanksgiving as a day to enjoy savings on gifts for everyone on their shopping list while supporting local businesses in downtown Saratoga Springs.”

Businesses participating in the Black Friday Saratoga group sale are each offering their own custom deals and opening at a variety of different hours, with some opening as early as 6am, and others opening later in the morning. Discounts in some stores are as deep as 60% off select merchandise. Businesses will be putting out their best incentives to come and shop their stores all weekend long and throughout the holiday season.
