Saratoga Springs History MuseumHaunted tales, eerie rides, and a chilling walk through the Canfield Casino await brave guests.

Saratoga Springs, NY (September 2025) — Saratoga’s most haunted tradition is back! The Ghosts of Saratoga Trolley Tour returns this October, offering locals and visitors alike a chance to experience the city’s spookiest stories and paranormal hotspots.

Running for four nights only—October 2, 9, 16, and 23, 2025 from 7:00–8:30 PM—this 90-minute tour blends history, folklore, and the paranormal for an unforgettable fall evening. Guests will ride the trolley through Saratoga’s most storied streets, hearing ghostly accounts documented by renowned ghost hunter David Pitkin and other investigators.

The night culminates with a walk through the Canfield Casino, widely regarded as one of the most haunted locations in the region. From cold spots and eerie footsteps to unexplained figures, countless visitors have reported chilling encounters in its historic halls.

This year, guests have two starting points to choose from:

  • The Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center (297 Broadway)
  • The Saratoga Springs History Museum (in Congress Park)

If one departure fills up, guests are encouraged to check the other location to secure their spot before tours sell out.

“The Ghosts of Saratoga Trolley Tour is one of our most anticipated events of the year,” said James Parillo, Saratoga Springs History Museum Director. “It’s the perfect way to celebrate spooky season, while also uncovering Saratoga’s rich and haunted history.”

Presented in collaboration with the Saratoga Springs Visitor Center, the Ghosts of Saratoga Trolley Tour is an adults-only event. Guests are encouraged to reserve early, as tickets always vanish quickly.
