TourismoExperience a Candlelit Musical Journey Featuring NYC’s XinOu Strings

New York, NY - Tourismo (formerly Junket) is thrilled to bring its enchanting event series, the Grand Illumination Symphony, to New York City starting February 14, 2025. This unique concert series will transform the historic St. Paul’s German Evangelical Lutheran Church into a stunning venue illuminated by 1,000 candles, setting the stage for an unforgettable musical experience.

New York City performances will feature XinOu Strings, a celebrated NYC-based string quartet led by the internationally acclaimed violinist XinOu Wei. With an illustrious career that includes performances for Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden and H.R.H. Princess Madeleine, as well as a recent Carnegie Hall appearance alongside legendary pianist Richard Clayderman, XinOu Wei brings his emotive artistry to life. His quartet will perform an inspiring blend of classical masterpieces and modern favorites, making each evening a truly immersive event.

XinOu Strings is a NYC-based string quartet founded and led by emotive violinist XinOu Wei. XinOu has performed for Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden and H.R.H. Princess Madeleine, and recently led his string orchestra in a Carnegie Hall concert with legendary pianist Richard Clayderman for his “Timeless Romance” concert. XinOu’s extensive career includes performances in iconic NYC concert halls as well as international stages in Berlin, Hamburg, Longone, Paris, and London, including with the London Symphony Orchestra.
