Rochester, N.Y., June 3, 2025—The George Eastman Museum is thrilled to announce that the beloved Garden Vibes Concert Series is making its much-anticipated return this summer, bringing live music from national and international bands back to the East Lawn. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Museum’s Schuyler C. Townson Terrace Garden and the historic mansion, this outdoor series invites music lovers to enjoy three unforgettable Wednesday evenings for the whole family: June 18, July 23, and August 13.

Garden Vibes 2025 lineup

Wednesday, June 18: É.T.É

The word été in French means summer—a fitting tribute to how their original, lively take on Québec traditional music is infused with a new vitality. With lovely vocal harmonies, deep groove, and rich instrumentation, É.T.É are an explosive trio on stage, transforming the nostalgia of a kitchen party into an unforgettable show experience that celebrates the joie de vivre of Québecois culture.

Wednesday, July 23: Alla Boara
Blending ancient Italian folk traditions with contemporary jazz, Alla Boara breathes new life into forgotten melodies, offering audiences a captivating journey through cultural heritage and universal human emotions.

Wednesday, August 13: Rez Abbasi
Guitarist and Composer Rez Abbasi is one of the most original voices on the current scene. Abbasi is a Guggenheim Fellow (2021), was voted #1 Rising-Star Guitarist in the 2013 DownBeat Critics Poll, and subsequently placed in the “Top-Ten Guitarists” alongside luminaries Bill Frisell and Pat Metheny.

All three concerts take place from 6 to 8 p.m., with gates opening at 5 p.m. Concertgoers may bring a picnic or purchase food on-site from the museum’s eatery, Open Face, as well as local food trucks, including Chef's Mobile Kitchen and Effortlessly Healthy. A cash bar will be available. Lawn games and toys are also available, to the delight of some of our youngest attendees.

Concertgoers are encouraged to stay after each performance to attend a film at the Dryden Theatre. Garden Vibes attendees receive $2 off admission to the Dryden Theatre on the evening of the concert by presenting their wristband at the box office.
