Little Gather | PUSH Physical Theatre

Get ready for a performance full of movement, imagination, and surprise as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of Little Gather during our Summer of Wonder with PUSH Physical Theatre! PUSH’s performance blends dance, theatre, mime, and acrobatics. This engaging performance uses the body as a tool for storytelling in creative and unexpected ways.
This program is all about having fun and is perfect for youngsters aged 11 and under, but everyone is welcome and encouraged to join in the fun. So, mark your calendars and get ready to dance and sing along!
David Whitehouse Research Residency for Scholars Lecture | Laura Maria Cinquini

Join us in The Studio Lecture Room, as David Whitehouse Research Residency for Scholars recipient Laura Maria Cinquini presents a lecture describing her research into Chinese reverse glass painting.
Cinquini’s academic work is situated at the intersection of Chinese language and culture, material culture studies, and heritage policy, with a strong interdisciplinary orientation. Her residency will allow Cinquini to investigate Chinese reverse glass painting and its niche pictorial production that emerged during the modern age from historical, artistic, cultural, and commercial exchanges between China and the West.
David Whitehouse Research Residency for Artists Lecture | Natalie Weinberger

Join us in The Studio Lecture Room, as David Whitehouse Research Residency for Artists recipient Natalie Weinberger presents a lecture describing her investigation into the fascinating intersection of glass and ceramics craft histories.
Through her residency, Weinberger hopes to gain further insight into the influence ceramic technology might have had on early glassmaking, as well as researching the working methods of some of the most prominent glass artists from the past 200 years who have utilized clay in the glassmaking processes.
Bring the Heat Demonstration | Katie Hubbs

Watch rockstar glassmaker Katie Hubbs work with fellow Hot Glass Team members to create a unique piece of her own design, reflecting her signature style.
Our demonstration series, Bring the Heat, shines a spotlight on the expert glassmakers from our Hot Glass Team, showcasing their creativity and expertise.

The Art of Seeing: Gallery Sketching with Hiram Cray

Join us this summer for sketching in the galleries! Grab some paper and pencils and get ready to learn more about the practice of sketching with Hiram Cray.
Cray is a professional artist and educator.
Learn how to capture on paper the amazing properties of glass or simply follow along and discover the Corning Museum of Glass through the eyes of an artist.
Participants of all ages are welcome, and the group will meet in the Admissions Lobby.
*Paper and pencils are provided. Free with admission.
Free Admission for Active-Duty Military + Families - Blue Star Museums Program
The Museum is an active participant in the Blue Star Museums program, offering free Museum admission to all active-duty military and their families on Armed Forces Day through Labor Day. * As always, Museum admission is valid for two consecutive days.
*The Museum also offers a 15% discount to all active military and veterans all year long. During the month of November, the Museum celebrates veterans with free admission to all military veterans.
About the Corning Museum of Glass:
In 2026, the Corning Museum of Glass celebrates 75 years as the foremost authority on the art, history, and science of glass. It is home to the world’s most important collection of glass, including the finest examples of glassmaking spanning 3,500 years. Live glassblowing demonstrations (offered at the Museum and on the road) bring the material to life. Daily Make Your Own Glass experiences at the Museum enable visitors to create work in a state-of-the-art glassmaking studio. The campus in Corning includes The Studio, a year-round glassmaking school celebrating 30 years in 2026, and the Rakow Research Library, with the world’s preeminent collection of materials on the art and history of glass. Located in the heart of the Finger Lakes Wine Country of New York State, the Museum is open daily 9 a.m.– 5 p.m. from April through December. Winter Hours (January–March) are 9 a.m.–5 p.m. on Monday – Tuesday, Thursday – Sunday (closed Wednesdays). Children and teens, 17 and under, receive free admission.
