The New York State Archives, Archives Partnership Trust and the New York State Museum, in collaboration with the nonprofit organization Revolutionary Westchester 250, today announced the opening of Treason of the Blackest Dye: The True Story of Arnold, André, and the Three Honest Militiamen Exhibition at The Coach Barn at Pocantico, in Tarrytown, New York. This extraordinary exhibition, open from September 25 until December 11, 2024, tells the story of Benedict Arnold’s betrayal and the remarkable capture of British Army Major John André.

CABAChatham, NY – On Saturday October 5th, Chatham welcomes back October Feast, an annual harvest celebration of the local food, drink and music with fun activities for the whole family. This year’s festival will run from 11:00 to 4:00 on Main Street in the Village of Chatham with music continuing until 10:00 outside Chatham Brewing.

What You See & What You Don't See Landscape Tour (2)Staatsburg, N.Y.  (8/21/24) — Staatsburgh State Historic Site is offering free guided landscape walks on the Gilded Age estate’s beautiful grounds overlooking the Hudson River. The program, entitled “What You See… and What You Don’t See,” shows how Staatsburgh’s landscape architect designed a glorious setting that showcased the good life in the Gilded Age, while deliberately using landscape elements to hide the technology and labor that made a turn-of-the-century estate run.

Historic Huguenot StreetNew Paltz, NY (August 22, 2024) – On September 16th, homeschool families are invited to enjoy a day full of learning and fun at Historic Huguenot Street. Attendees will be able to tour the 18th century Abraham Hasbrouck house, visit the replica Esopus wigwam, search around the Burying Ground for scavenger hunt clues, and make crafts to take home.

Children and adults alike will get a thrill getting “up close and personal” with butterflies in the Butterfly Tent. With the purchase of each ticket, you will also be registering for a ½ hour slot during which you will have several minutes to enter and enjoy the Butterfly Tent.

Hudson Jazz FestivalHudson, NY -- Hudson Hall at the historic Hudson Opera House today announced the complete lineup of the 2024 Hudson Jazz Festival.
