Lafayette, N.Y. — Beak & Skiff, a 115-year-old family-owned apple orchard today announced Apple Grove Adventure Park, a $1 million expansion of its Apple Hill campus and the farm's largest single investment since the construction of its landmark 1911 Established Tasting Room. Opening on August 29, 2026, Apple Grove Adventure Park transformed a six-acre portion of the working apple orchard into a full-scale family-friendly destination, anchored by the largest mountain slide at any orchard in the country, a zip line, an animal petting zoo, multiple playground installations, jump pillows, inflatable pads, and much more.
Located on Beak & Skiff's main campus, just steps from the 1911 Tasting Room and surrounded by rows of apple trees, Apple Grove Adventure Park is designed so every member of the family can discover their own adventure and spend the day making memories at Apple Hill. The new park is a direct response to guest feedback. For years, visitors told Beak & Skiff that they wanted more family friendly activities to round out the adult experiences.
To build it right, the Beak & Skiff team toured agri-tourism farms across the country and world, gathering the best ideas the industry had to offer and bringing them home to Apple Hill. The result is a one-of-a-kind adventure park built specifically for the unique orchard setting that makes Beak & Skiff a part of family traditions for so many New Yorkers.
