Regional Dance America NortheastAlbany, N.Y. - Regional Dance America/Northeast (RDA/NE) is proud to announce its 2026 Regional Festival, set to take place May 7–9, 2026, in Albany, New York, with performances at The Egg, and official accommodations, classes and additional activities at the Hilton Albany.

The Festival is a culmination of an exciting process that begins when RDA's world-class adjudicators tour the region to select works by member companies and arrange festival programs. The adjudicators provide constructive feedback to member companies to elevate their programs. During the festival participants attend master classes, seminars, and college roundtables during the day, as well as perform each evening. Dancers from member companies are seen by college and professional training program recruiters and have the opportunity to audition for awards and scholarships. Member company directors network with well-known dance educators and choreographers.

Regional Dance America is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that fosters a network of pre-professional dance companies throughout the United States. RDA provides increasing opportunity, exposure, and connection for its members to inspire a community of excellence in dance education and performance. RDA nurtures the artists of tomorrow!

RDA/ NE is one of five Regional Associations of RDA composed of pre-professional non-profit dance companies, troupes, ensembles, and guilds in the Northeastern United States. RDA/Northeast was the second Regional Association for dance established in the US, having hosted our first Festival in 1959. Today, RDA/NE continues to provide a source of support, encouragement, experience, knowledge, and networking for its member companies. RDA/NE foster opportunities for dancers, choreographers, and directors to encourage the growth of quality dance in our area. RDA/NE  includes the areas of Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, along with Washington, D.C.
