Four Free Events at Everson Plaza and WCNY — First Match is June 19. Don’t Miss It!
Syracuse, NY – With the world’s most exciting soccer tournament now underway, Visit Syracuse wants to make sure Central New York doesn’t miss a moment. The Salt City’s free four-event soccer watch party series — sponsored in part by New York State and Onondaga County — launches this month at two beloved downtown venues. Grab your friends, wear your colors, and come celebrate the beautiful game together.
Whether you’re a lifelong soccer devotee or just love a great reason to gather downtown, these events are for you. Admission is free at every single one.

The series is part of Governor Kathy Hochul’s statewide effort to bring the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ to communities across New York. Visit Syracuse is one of 12 community-based projects to receive grant funding through the New York State Community World Cup Grant Program.
All four events are free and open to the public. The first match — USA vs. Australia — is just around the corner on June 19.
