Island-Inspired Restaurant and Rum Bar Hosts On-the-Water Celebration

Hampton Bays, NY (June 14, 2023) – RUMBA Inspired Island Cuisine & Rum Bar announces the 4th Annual Rumba Cove Boat Party, on Saturday, June 24th from 12-6pm. Boaters are encouraged to anchor down in Shinnecock Bay, just behind Rumba, where food will be delivered via jet ski beginning at noon, and a live performance from Project Vibe from 2-6pm on a barge in the middle of the water.

“What started as a 10-year anniversary party for Rumba has grown into an annual culinary-boating event that our guests plan their summer around,” owner Rachel Hersh said, “And we’re so grateful that they do. Watching everyone eat and dance from their boat embodies the purpose of Rumba!”     

Pre-orders are strongly encouraged as more menu items will be available and all pre-orders come with free Rumba swag. Guests can pre-order at RumbaHamptonBays.com from June 15th- June 22nd. Food and drinks will also be available the day of the event and can be picked up from one of two barges that will transport guests back to their boats via jet ski provided by East End Jet Ski and Mariner’s Cove Marina. Fellow cove neighbor, Spellman’s Marina, is furnishing both the “Smile” and “Peace” barges where guests will pick up their orders.

All are welcome to come early to RUMBA Cove (N 40⁰ 52’ 41” W 72⁰ 30’ 60”) and secure their spot, anchor down, and enjoy an amazing day filled with food, fun, reggae, and prizes.
