23_030_EAclipse_Poster_Critters_M1squareAEast Aurora, NY—The Friends of Knox Farm State Park are proud to unveil the one-of-a-kind, collectible poster for their 2024 EAclipse event on Monday, April 8, 2024. The event will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the historic stables area in Knox Farm State Park. Designed by Casey Kelly Pérez, owner of Limbic Studio, the poster and event celebrate the fact that our region will be in the path of totality for this historic astronomical event.

Pérez noted, “Knox Farm State Park has a special place in my heart, so it was an honor to work with the Friends in creating the event poster and design assets for the 2024 EAclipse event. The whimsical, folksy design features the park’s natural elements and the family-friendly focus of the event. In addition, a few nocturnal critters already have their eclipse glasses ready to go, and they might make an appearance during the total solar eclipse.”

The EAclipse celebration will include a community watch party with live streaming from locations in the path of totality, viewing glasses for ticket holders, educational programming, family activities, live music, and food and beverage vendors. The collectible poster will be sold at the event, along with other unique EAclipse merchandise.

Jody Valdes, co-chair of the EAclipse celebration stated, “Casey’s exceptional poster design reflects our commitment to an educational, family-oriented celebration of this extraordinary event. We are developing a number of partnerships with regional schools and organizations to make the EAclipse an event to remember.”

More information regarding tickets, parking, and programming will be provided in the coming months. Please note, this will be a ticketed event in a designated area of the park. Visit www.friendsofknoxfarm.org/ to sign up for the latest EAclipse news.
