Haunted History Returns to Saratoga Springs
Saratoga Springs, NY — Just in time to send chills down your spine this summer, the Saratoga Springs History Museum is thrilled to announce the return of its wildly popular Ghost Tours of the Canfield Casino, running July 2 through August 29, 2025, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM (closed Friday, July 4).
Set in the heart of historic Congress Park, the Canfield Casino is more than a beautiful 19th-century landmark — it’s one of America’s Most Terrifying Places, as featured on the Travel Channel and Ghost Hunters. This season’s tours promise to immerse guests in Saratoga’s spectral history with new stories, local legends, and chilling accounts of real paranormal encounters.
“This is not your average history tour,” says James Parillo, Director of the Saratoga Springs History Museum. “The Ghost Tours give people a deeper — and sometimes unsettling — look at the past. Visitors often leave with more than just stories... some even report unexplainable experiences.”
Participants will be guided through the opulent yet eerie halls of the Casino, hearing true tales of hauntings, mysterious events, and the spirits believed to still roam the corridors. From whispered voices to sudden chills, every tour is a chance to connect with the supernatural side of Saratoga’s rich history.
