In Putnam County:

• 75% change and peak-to-just-past-peak in Cold Spring and the surrounding area with brilliant and bright yellow, red, orange and purple leaves. Trails at Castle Rock Park in nearby Garrison will be ablaze with color and Routes 301, 403, 9, 9D, 9W and the Taconic State Parkway are showing 100% color change.

• Nearly 100% change and past peak at Van Houten Farms in Orangeburg with brown, dark red and dark orange leaves.
• 100% and just-past-peak in New City with orange, yellow and some red leaves.
• 100% and past peak in Bear Mountain with average-to-bright yellow and orange leaves and touches of red and purple.

In Westchester County: 

• 85% change and peak in White Plains and Jefferson Valley with a brilliant kaleidoscope maroon, yellow, orange and brown leaves.

• 100% and just-past-peak at Hempstead Lake State Park in West Hempstead with brilliant crimson, goldenrod, rust, mustard and ruby red leaves.
• 100% and past peak at Mill Pond Park in Wantagh with a colorful mix of fall colors on trees surrounding the lake, plus significant droppage.
• 90% with peak-to-past-peak foliage St. John’s Pond & Nature Sanctuary, accessible at the back of the Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery, with picturesque views across the pond.
• 90% at Gerry Park in Roslyn with peak-to-past-peak foliage and some bare trees.
• 90% at the Nassau County Museum of Art & Preserve in Roslyn with near-peak, peak and past-peak foliage on trees throughout the preserve.
• 100% with past-peak foliage and significant droppage at the clubhouse lots of Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale. The park’s five golf courses and bike trails will be at peak with 90% change and a bright mix of colorful foliage.
• 95% and peak-to-just-past-peak at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow with bright red, purple, orange, yellow and brown leaves in the picnic areas and on the three golf courses.
• 100% with an impressive mix of peak and past-peak colors on the Northern State Parkway, with a colorful palate of bright red, purple, orange and yellow leaves along a four-mile stretch from Lakeville Road Exit 25 in New Hyde Park to Roslyn Road Exit 29 in Roslyn Heights.
• 90% along the Southern State, Meadowbrook State, Wantagh State and Bethpage State parkways with trees featuring peak and past-peak foliage with a medley of red, purple, orange, yellow, brown and green foliage depending on location. Sections of the Wantagh State Parkway and Meadowbrook State Parkway both between the Southern State Parkway and Route 27 exits should still be exhibiting vibrant peak color featuring bright red, orange and yellow leaves, plus leaf droppage. The southern end of Bethpage State Parkway also contains striking shades of peak color, plus some past-peak sections with brown leaves and bare trees.
• 90% along the Long Island Expressway and adjacent North and South L.I.E. Service Roads, and Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway with trees displaying both peak and past-peak color foliage.
• 90% and peak-to-past-peak along Northern Boulevard (Route 25A) from Glen Cove Road in the hamlet of Greenvale, east to the village of Cold Spring Harbor. Look for red, purple, yellow, orange and brown foliage plus bare trees depending on location along the nine-mile drive.

In Suffolk County:

• 95% change and peak on the North Shore with very brilliant red, yellow and orange leaves and some droppage in waterfront areas.
• 80% and peak at Mashomack Preserve on Shelter Island with bright shades of yellow and a mix of red and orange leaves. Hickories and sassafras are displaying vibrant yellow leaves, while most oaks are still green.
• 100% and peak-to-past-peak at Belmont Lake State Park in West Babylon with past-peak foliage on trees surrounding the lake and some bare trees, and peak foliage along the trails and in the picnic areas.
• 100% along the Northern State, Southern State and Sagtikos Parkways with trees featuring peak and past-peak foliage with a varied mix of red, purple, orange, yellow and brown foliage depending on location.

• 100% foliage change and peak at the Bronx Zoo with very brilliant yellow, orange and red leaves.
• 70% and near peak on the Lower East Side of Manhattan with yellow leaves.
• 80% and near peak in Jackson Heights, Queens with bright yellow, orange and red leaves and touches of purple.
